BDM 04-05 WRX ECU USDM

can mc68hc16bdm be used to unbrick a 04-05 wrx ecu via bdm? It says 02-03 usdm, but since its the same motorola cpu I thought maybe it works?

Is there any instructions other then the picture? Do I need to provide the ecu with a bench connection for 12v, etc? is the arduino nano pin out the same for FastECU vs Arduino IDE? Thanks

Yes, in bench with power supply via ECU connector and pinout is based on Arduino Nano, no custom things done as idea was "keep it simple".
